It's that time of year again when many of us begin the New Year by fasting to benefit in mind, body and spirit.
We've decided to try the Daniel Fast which is referenced in the Bible in  Daniel 1:8-14. This 21-day fast focuses very heavily on vegetables and other healthy whole foods, but leaves out any animal sources of protein.
