Thoughts on Modesty

The word “Modesty” is not a popular one in our culture today and often comes with a negative connotation. But if we can get past the legalism that is often associated with it, we can see that it’s actually more of a matter of the heart than the actual clothes we wear.

In this episode of The Grace Space, Gracemade founder, Jasmine Rennie shares her views on modesty and the reason she decided to create a whole brand around it.

Hello there, what a beautiful heart you have, Jasmine. To see your love and care for the girls in the red light district when you began talking about that was empowering. There is a reason you were there that day, a reason you felt called to these girls. I didn’t see your fashion line on here, but I will be looking for it now, as I went through the same process as you did when I came back to the family..desiring a fashion line that did exactly what you are doing! I am not a designer so thank the Lord that we have a Body of believers with different talents. Good luck!!

Such a powerful message that so many of us need to hear. It is so important to know that you are not the only one who holds these thoughts. So glad God has given you this space to glorify Him!!!! God bless and keep you in all that you do!!!!!

Thank you SOOOO much for speaking up about modesty. We need more people to make a stand today than ever before for the exact reasons you gave. You are spot on in your thinking and source for wisdom on this. I’m so glad I can say you are my sister in Christ!!! May God bless you in your clothing line and life as you continue to follow Him. Blessings and prayers to you and your family.
